Sam is a Tax Partner at the London office of King & Wood Mallesons. She advises on a broad range of UK and cross-border tax matters for public and private companies, banks, private equity houses and management teams across a number of sectors. She has wide experience in corporate mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations, structured finance, equity incentive arrangements, employment taxation, tax disputes and the tax aspects of real estate transactions. Sam also specialises in advising private equity houses and management teams on the tax aspects of deal and fund structuring and has been a regular speaker at conferences covering the same. Sam studied law at the University of Bristol and qualified as a solicitor in the Tax Department at SJ Berwin in 2001. She qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2003 and has over 20 years experience working in private equity and the law.
