I am currently studying a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance at Aston university after graduating with a 2:1 (69%) BA Honours degree in Business and Marketing. As part of my undergraduate course, I completed a year's work placement with Janssen Pharmaceutica UK (subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson) as a marketing executive. My main responsibilities included: networking with external creative agencies in order to produce high quality promotional materials for healthcare professionals; organising and running ADHD awareness events in order to drive sales; keeping track of my department's income and expenditure. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Janssen, gaining invaluable experience into the world of marketing and I was commended for my enthusiasm and my ability to motivate others. I am articulate and confident, gaining Firsts for all the presentations I conducted at university. I also excel at working in teams and have been repeatedly praised for my personable nature. I also have a natural aptitude for numeracy, scoring highly in my financial modules, as I enjoy statistical analysis and data handling. I am now keen to start my career and feel that my degree, along with my placement year, have given me a great foundation to build on, allowing me to put theory into practice.
