An avid enthusiast of Latin and Greek in my spare time, and a Physics PhD candidate by day. I work at the intersection of optics, hardware architecture, and AI. My research focuses on exploring the experimental and theoretical boundaries of Spatial Photonic Ising Machines to solve complex optimization problems or simulate the functioning of parts of the brain. Jointly supervised by Prof. Claudio Conti (Sapienza University) and Dr. Marco Leonetti (IIT-CLNS).
As a tutor of advanced calculus for students of Statistics, Economics, Finance and Insurance (SEFA degree course) I showed exercises and solutions at the blackboard, prepared a little book of exercises, assisted the teacher during written and oral tests, corrected the tests and transcribed them in Latex.
My job was to guide first year Bachelor students through the solution of exercises and help them revise key concepts. Topics included dynamics of systems of particles and rigid bodies and equilibrium thermodynamics.
