Munich, Bavaria, Germany
At the risk of grossly disfiguring a just as grossly overused quote from the show that promised so much and, in the end, disappointed so many (yes, the one with the dragons and the throne), I will describe what I do in the following few words: I write, and I research things. I have written about and done research on a plethora of topics for different media types, starting with small news articles for the local newspaper during my high school years. Since then, I have written research papers and essays on political and societal topics such as populism and intersectionality within the framework of media studies during my bachelor's and master's studies, as well as news and SEO articles on technology, entertainment and consumer goods in working student jobs at BurdaForward and Kaufland e-commerce. I have also ventured into radio journalism while at Munich's student-organized radio station M94.5, where I mainly covered the areas of music and internet culture. Recently, I have been passionate about using my skills to further the dialogue on diversity and anti-discrimination at my job as an online editor for employer branding at Kaufland e-commerce (kaufland-ecommerce.com) within our diversity initiatives, as a volunteer activist for Amnesty International and as Social Media Manager for the non-profit KO - Kein Opfer e.V.
