NOC duty 24 / 7 Monitoring of VSAT sites of Telenor (Telecom Company) in Islamabad IIB-995 Green Field MSC through PRTG software. ▪ Complaints ( Trouble Tickets) handling through HP service Manager. Problem escalation and maintaining committed VSAT media availability. ▪ Working on C-Band L-Band and IF Frequency band. ▪ Configuration & Firmware up gradation of modems & different equipment. ▪ Antenna Pointing of diameter 3.8m and 6.3m. ▪ Working on Comtech EF Modem CDM625, CDM 625A, CDM760 , Comtech CSAT5060 RFTs, LNAs, SSPAs, OMT, Block Up Convertor (BUC). ▪ Use of test instruments, BERT (Acterna, Sunlight), Spectrum Analyzer (HP & SCHWARS FS300). ▪ Troubleshooting Network high level technical problems. ▪ Fault diagnosis and rectification of transmission media. ▪ Execution of Preventive Maintenance Routines (PMR), Maintenance Down Times (MDT), Backup Savings & Routine Maintenance Tasks.
o Update and upgrade network such as mirroring or swapping of devices or cards. ▪ Operating systems Installation and management with windows OS. ▪ keeping up with clients regarding network Issues. ▪ Peripheral installation ▪ Implementations in VMware. ▪ Documentation and reporting of complaints of employees. ▪ Configuration/management of Access points and Wifi routers. ▪ Integration of DHCP servers.
