Shell Energy A.Ş., Shell Company of Turkey Ltd.. 1000+ Retail Stations, 7 Storage Terminals, Lubricants & Grease Manufacturing plant as export center for 60+ countries, Aviation, Marine, Chemicals businesses, full integrated downstream organization. • Lead Procurement Managers (Corporate, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Logistics, Raw materials and Non fuel retail including FMCG) and Senior Buyers and Analysts to execute many regional and local projects covering Shell spend in Turkey for all line of businesses, managing 1.3+ Bln usd Contract Value with a team of 15 people. • Develop and implement an annual plan for Procurement strategy in line with the company’s business plan Develop department strategies in line with Local and Global Shell objectives, balance to find the optimum where JV get the best value, jointly with direct reports • Accountable for strategic management of spend (Tender, contract, category management etc) and operational Excellence (Vendor Services, SAP, cashflow etc.) • Performance manage team members, maintain a succession plan and conduct training needs analysis, design and implement a training plan, allocate budget and time • Operate as Contract Board Secretary responsible for record keeping, Strategy and award preparation including quality of market intelligence, and transparency of evaluations are clear and transparent • Ensure necessary HSSE banding, Supplier Qualification accreditation • Applying global Contract Management & Category Management best practices, tools and procedures • Cash flow support by payment term extensions and effective stock level management. • Member of Executive Management Team and Mobility Leadership Team
• Develop the global category strategy and to ensure the best deals are made, providing highest value to the business, while supporting the local teams in 50 countries for implementation • Being the procurement lead either "doing the deals" in global scale or coaching others to ensure company gets full value for money, the right quality, and goods that are ethically sourced, meeting suitable HSSE(safety) standards • Seek out and generate value, minimize business and HSSE risks while extracting a value from third party spend, the management of major brand trackers, digital feedback solutions and many adhoc market research activities that provide vital health checks on customer perceptions of the business, or support decision making on products or marketing communications • Categories in scope: Global Promotions including E2E Delivery with logistic set up and partnerships with ferrrari, BMW Ducati, Market research contracts ; Shell branded goods and merchandise; Uniforms and branded workwear • Build highly collaborative relationships ensuring procurement strategies are fully aligned to the Business objectives Cross border working, managing people with no direct line authority. • Continuous improvement and simplification mindset. • Managing the strategic execution of sourcing strategies and ensuring optimal contract coverage for 350 mln USD contract value/300 contracts across several categories mostly under Retail&Lubricant businesses. Main Categories to be leaded: Non-fuel Retail:Category Management for subcategories including FMCG and development of strong partnerships with premium brands( Kahve Dunyasi &Starbucks deals, Deli2go/Private Label Partnerships with various brands).First Supply Chain set up for Select Network(700 sites), Hot Offer launch and roll-out, development of tobacco and car wash strategies Enhancement of Dealer Value Proposition(DVP) packages (5 mln USD Revenue/ year) Brand & Communication: BTL & ATL spend optimization and planning. Integrated category spend management for other B&C projects such as uniforms, printing, market research Fuels Loyalty and Promotions: Development of cross promotional alliances with other major organizations such as grocers, airlines, telecom companies with marketing team. • Leading CP Operations team of 6 “Senior Buyer” colleagues for all categories under all class of businesses (trading & supply, lubricants, network, marketing, corporate) in Turkey • Support the vision of being ‘commercial powerhouse and trusted advisors to the business, minimize business and HSSE risks while extracting a value from third party spend • Accountable for complex deals/ contracts by identifying critical success, drive improvement opportunities and performance with the emphasis to maximize value • ensuring procurement processes are efficient and in line with company policies & contracts comply with Shell global standards • Effective post award contract and demand management projects • Cash flow support and effective stock level management • Providing input to the Global Category Strategy and ensure an efficient “localized” implementation • Saving initiations resulted with more than $ 20 M in 4 years’ time with different project initiations
