Hiring founding engineers to work on the future of software engineering!
Took on ownership of Datadog's AI/ML products & research as we transitioned into the GenAI era, starting with Bits AI, our SRE Agent. Our AI research program trained a state-of-the-art time-series foundation model named Toto, improving on benchmarks set by teams at Amazon, Google, and Salesforce. Also led our Dashboarding & DataViz orgs, as well as our Cloud Service Management org though the launch of Datadog On-Call in Jan 2025.
Worked to make Datadog a "Platform for Action" that goes beyond observability to directly solve customer problems. Led the development & launch of Workflow Automation and App Builder products.
Led the Cloud Platform group and launched & scaled several major new products, including Serverless Monitoring, Network Performance Monitoring, and Cloud Cost Management.
Taptap Send (originally a product of Segovia Technology, since spun out) is now a unicorn fintech company providing low-cost remittances into the emerging markets. Led the technical team that built, launched, and scaled Taptap Send through it's first year, while it was a part of Segovia. Also played a leadership role in the initial inception, product definition, branding, and operations. Taptap Send later spun out into a separate company (following the sale of Segovia's B2B business).
Hired and managed a team of engineers to build a payment gateway for mobile money in sub-Saharan Africa. Led the engineering team from our first paying customer onwards. Our customers included with international NGOs, remittance companies, and agriculture firms to conduct payments 12 countries. In 2018, we launched our own consumer-facing remittance app, Taptap Send. Segovia's lead investor is Reid Hoffman, of Greylock Partners.
Technical Lead for the Growth team, focused on sign-up, onboarding, and reactivation efforts. I also did extensive work on our API and developer platform, as well as the initial launch of Swarm.
