I am an Occupational Therapist who believes that therapy should fit into real life, not feel separate from it. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and caregivers across diverse needs and journeys. Through both in-person and teletherapy, my work has always focused on one core question: How does this person function in their everyday life? Because progress isn’t just about reducing symptoms, it’s about living, participating, and feeling capable in daily routines. I currently lead Kikstart Rehabilitation, an online therapy and training platform built to make mental health and developmental support more accessible, practical, and compassionate. Our work spans emotional regulation, sensory processing, social skills, functional life skills, activitiesof daily living and caregiver support, always rooted in a neurodivergent-affirming and family-centred approach. Beyond therapy sessions, I love building spaces for learning and collaboration. I regularly design and facilitate workshops, webinars, and trainings for parents, teachers, professionals, schools, NGOs, and community groups. My goal is always to simplify therapeutic language and translate it into tools that people can actually use in their everyday lives. Being both a therapist and a parent has deepened my understanding of how overwhelming, emotional, and uncertain this journey can feel. It has also reinforced my belief that support needs to be empathetic, culturally sensitive, and grounded in trust, not fear or quick fixes. I enjoy collaborating with like-minded professionals, institutions, and organisations who are interested in meaningful, ethical, and impact-driven work. Whether it’s co-creating programs, delivering trainings, or starting thoughtful conversations around mental health, parenting, and development, I value partnerships that grow people, not just projects. If you’re interested in building something that goes beyond awareness and truly supports how people function in everyday life, feel free to reach out. I’m always open to meaningful conversations and thoughtful collaborations. Outside of my professional work, I love engaging in long, reflective conversations about women’s rights, social justice, geopolitics, and philosophy, topics that shape how we live, think, and show up in the world.
Too many families today encounter misinformation or unsafe practices in the name of therapy, many times because qualified professionals are not easily accessible. At Kikstart Rehab, we are working to change that by making ethical, evidence-informed support available wherever it is needed. Our vision is to bring meaningful therapy closer to homes, reduce the stigma around seeking help, and ensure that individuals and families have access to the right guidance at the right time. We work across the lifespan, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults through mental health support and life skills development, helping people build emotional resilience, social understanding, independence, and everyday functioning. As the founder, I wear multiple hats, overseeing operations, developing learning resources, and working directly with clients so that the care we offer remains thoughtful, practical, and deeply human. I am always open to collaborating with schools, organizations, and professionals who share the vision of making therapy more ethical, accessible, and impactful. Started as a Consultant for Vocational Needs, working with adults with special needs to assess their performance areas and support their participation in meaningful work. My role included evaluating Activities of Daily Living, physical, cognitive, emotional, and mental health factors that influence task performance, work routines, and overall efficiency. I developed vocational profiles highlighting each individual’s strengths and challenges to help identify suitable work roles and supportive environments. For the past five years, I have continued supporting the organization as a Tele-Consultant, providing remote guidance on vocational planning, life skills, and mental health support to improve independence, work participation, and overall well-being.
