I am an experienced researcher with 6+ years of postdoctoral research experience, holding a PhD in Animal Biotechnology, and with a decade of research in the academic sector. My research has spanned areas such as proteomics, metabolomics, physiology, transcriptomics, drug development, and biomarkers. Notably, my PhD research has been published in journals like Medical Hypotheses, Reproductive Biology, Drug Discovery and Therapeutics, and Gynaecology and Minimally Invasive Therapy. Currently, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I am working on the characterization of trans-Resveratrol and ε-Viniferin-based engineered grape cell extract (GCE) for treating obesity in a diet-induced obesity (DIO) mouse model. My postdoctoral work has also been featured in journals such as Frontiers in Physiology (with two publications) and the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. In total, I have published 22 peer-reviewed papers, one book chapter, a conference proceeding, and seven abstracts. My publication record boasts a cumulative impact factor of 80, with 499 citations, an H-index of 12, and an i10-index of 12. I have received numerous fellowships, including the ARO Postdoctoral Fellowship (Israel), MSCA MaRaThoN Travel Support (Italy), ICMR Senior Research Fellowship (India), DST Project Fellowship (India), and DBT Travel Support (India). My leadership potential is further demonstrated by securing funding for five research projects from organizations such as DBT, DST, ARO, ICMR, and HUJI. Additionally, I serve as an ad-hoc peer reviewer for several international journals.

Project 1: Assessing effect of engineered grape cell extract (GCE) against DIO model * Assessment of the therapeutic effect of GCE extract in diet-induced obesity in-vivo model (FVB/N and C57-balck mice). * The GCE extract was profiled in HPLC and quantified the novel compounds trans-Resveratrol and ε-Viniferin. * The phenotypic (food intake, body weight), glucose tolerance, genomic changes in vital tissues (liver, kidney, muscle, pancreas, gonad, pituitary, hypothalamus, hippocampus, cortex, cerebellum etc.) were analysed using QPCR and RNA-seq technology. * The blood parameters checked in Cobas-bioanalyzer and high-throughput technology antibody array for protein expression in plasma. Project 2: Anti-inflammatory effect of GCE on primary astrocyte * The anti-inflammatory effect of GCE extract in in-vitro model mice primary astrocytes cells. * The pro-inflammatory genes (IL-6, IL-1, TNF, MMP2 etc.) was checked for genomic response in cells using QPCR analysis. * The conditioned media used to check proteomic response using cytokine array platform.
Project 1: Characterization of the effect of timed feeding in a chicken model * The time restricted feeding improved the egg quality and health of layer chicken in old age. Project 2: Distribution of gut hormones and their role in GI tract of chicken * The profile of gut hormones expression (Leptin, Adipolin, CCK, Ghrelin, Secretin etc) in chicken digestive tract by SRA metadata and western blot analysis. * The role of Leptin in digestive tract was shown by qPCR analysis.
