As a postdoctoral researcher and junior group leader in Prof. Dooley's lab at the Medical Faculty Mannheim, Heidelberg University, I specialize in investigating cell-cell communications and intracellular signaling pathways in liver disease. My research encompasses diverse aspects, including the progression of fibrosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, the development of hepatocarcinoma, liver regeneration, and acute liver failure. My expertise includes a range of experimental techniques such as partial hepatectomy, intravenous injection, primary hepatocyte isolation, 3D cell culture, cell-cell co-culture, liver tissue staining and analysis, signaling pathway investigations, co-immunoprecipitation (co-IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assay, RNA Scope, Western blotting (WB), and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
