I am looking after domestic and international cotton procurement and marketing of our top quality cotton, polyester and other blended yarns in international markets. I am also looking after our 100% Top Quality Raw Cotton Bales export division. Besides, my primary work I am the head of our Legal & Compliance Department.
-Research pertaining to Civil Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, Companies Act, other Civil Laws both substantial and procedural. -Drafting of Civil Plaint, Replications, Written Statements, Replies in Civil Matters related to Recovery of Money, Property Disputes, Succession etc. -Formulated Questions for Cross-examination of Prime Witness in a case involving Recovery of unpaid salary & Interest. -Drafted Sale Deed, Service Agreements, Lease Deeds and Power of Attorney. -Dealt with Trade and Tax Compliances and Due Diligence related work.
-Research pertaining to IBC 2016, Negotiable instruments Act, Companies Act, Direct-Indirect Tax and Other Commercial Laws. -Drafted Application for initiation of insolvency proceedings under IBC and filing of reply to query for amalgamation of companies. -Assisted in drafting of scheme of amalgamation under Section 230 of the Companies Act. -Work involved assisting Partner and Associates at Firm to regular court visits.
