WorldCruise/Ylly is a travel booking platform in China. While website and app launch was a priority this past summer, the next step was to start a travel agency division of the company. My main role was to develop the business plan for the travel agency component that could be used immediately after the website and app launch. I reported directly to the executive management team, including the President, CEO, and COO. Tasks included: • Developed a business plan for a home-based business model in China for travel agents specifically targeting the cruise industry, which included competitive analysis, financial analysis, marketing strategies, and training program strategy • Developed sales and training presentations portfolio and presented about the cruise industry in China to leading English Language and Technology Schools in Beijing • Performed in-depth research and analysis to adjust for cultural differences that impact business strategy in comparison with United States travel agency models
