About

A Jewish Chinese American immigrant, I was adopted at fourteen months from GuangXi province in China. From kindergarten to 12th Grade, I attended the Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn, and absolutely loved my experience there. I am currently a senior at Middlebury College in Vermont. I have a passion for history, education, writing, and building a strong sense of community. I also love traveling, seeing Broadway shows, water sports, and making a positive impact wherever I go. I am a History Major and a Chinese and Educational Studies Double Minor. I have experience in historical research and archival work, as well as in tutoring and mentoring children. I am currently studying Mandarin Chinese and have studied abroad in China. My goal is to become a history educator, not only teaching history, but also helping my students grow as people.
