During holidays, I work as a patient services administrator at Trumpington Street Medical Practice, a GP practice in Cambridge running across two sites. My role entails various tasks that help keep the smooth-running of the practice such as managing records, registering patients and speaking to patients on a daily basis when working reception.
I have tutored numerous students in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE level helping them to achieve excellent grades.
I worked at CamPlay, a service part of Cambridgeshire County Council which provides support clubs for children and young people with disabilities. It was my responsibility to engage and care for one of the young people for the duration of the session.
I spent 8 weeks as an apprentice in Welfare Pharmacy. During the placement, I learnt the basic functioning and daily operation of a community pharmacy. I participated in both the over the counter and the dispensary, assisted in processing prescriptions and managing medicine stock over the counter.
