    I did my independent research study with the organization on a project ‘Non-farm income diversification in tribal households in PESA villages in the Nashik district of Maharashtra.’It was a research study to understand, what are the income sources of the tribal households, at different times during the year? (Cultivation, Agri-labor, Farm-allied, and Non-Farm), Identifying characteristics of individuals who can get non-farm work and how these are different from those who don’t. (Education, landholding, large family, migrants in family, etc.) and Identifing challenges in getting non-farm work throughout the year. At the end of the research study, I presented the research study at the Field Project Fair at Azim Premji University. I had produced a report which was submitted to Azim Premji University and to the organization.
