International Policy & Strategy Lead at techUK - shaping global tech policy, digital trade, and regulatory cooperation across the EU, US, Canada, Asia-Pacific, and the Gulf region. Based in Brussels, I lead techUK’s International Policy and Trade Programme, driving strategy, advocacy, and market opportunities for UK tech companies worldwide. With nearly a decade as a Policy Advisor in the European Parliament, I bring deep expertise in tech regulation, trade policy, and EU–US relations. My work focuses on ensuring UK tech’s voice is heard in global policy debates, and on helping members navigate and influence the world’s digital economy. I’m passionate about community-building: - Co-founded Young Professionals in Digital Policy (800+ members) - Run Old Professionals in Digital Policy (more experience, better wine, earlier nights) - Founded the Gentlewomen’s Club (500+ women supporting each other with kindness) Advisory roles: UCL European Institute, Café Transatlantique, and The Nine women’s members club. Public Speaker | Recognised as one of the most influential women in UK tech by ComputerWeekly. MA in War Studies (King’s College London) | BA in Classics (University of Cambridge) | Marathon runner & frequent traveller.
techUK is the UK's primary trade association representing the sector, with more than 900 member companies, a large majority of which are SMEs. I lead techUK's EU and Trade policy and am responsible for our engagement in Brussels and Strasbourg, EU Member States, as well as the WTO in Geneva and other international fora.
The Gentlewomen’s Club is a values-based network, a judgement-free zone for women to enjoy each other’s company, rejoice in each other’s success, embrace and learn from challenges.
The Young Professionals in Digital Policy (YPDP) network convenes young tech policy enthusiasts to discuss and shape Europe’s digital future.
The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum. It is a network of Hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a contribution to their communities. In Brussels, I ran a EU-wide project to get more young people to participate in EU Elections 2019, as well as an initiative to help the local community work on their self-set happiness goals (Brussels Happiness Project).
