Kia ora whanau! I am an international student currently working towards my PhD in Psychology and Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. I have two years of experience in the field of social work. I also have experience in hospitality and have done a considerable number of leadership roles at university. I tend to persistently find myself in roles that revolve around people and find myself in relentless pursuit of opportunities that better peoples lives. Through my study at the university, the field of social and indigenous psychology has thoroughly shaped my interest in learning more about human interactions and systemic biases within organisational and healthcare settings. As a Medical Administrator at Motion Health Clinic, I play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and delivering a high standard of care for patients. My responsibilities include: Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming experience. Managing appointment scheduling, patient records, and clinic correspondence efficiently. Coordinating between practitioners and patients to facilitate seamless communication and care. Processing payments, invoices, and insurance claims with accuracy. Maintaining a well-organized and supportive environment for both staff and patients. In this role, I’ve honed my organizational, communication, and multitasking skills while contributing to a positive and patient-centered atmosphere. I’m passionate about supporting healthcare professionals and enhancing the experience of those we serve.
