Now we’re building AS Studio: the operating system for bespoke footwear - blending traditional craftsmanship with technology so custom shoes can scale without losing their soul. We’ve proven it by running it manually in-house; now we’re turning it into the infrastructure the industry has been missing - helping luxury brands offer on-demand custom while cutting overproduction and waste. We use AI to enhance craftsmanship (not replace it), automating repetitive technical steps so artisans can spend their time where human skill matters most. Purpose-driven. Personal. Scalable. My journey into bespoke footwear began with learning the traditional craft of shoemaking at Andrew McDonald, one of the last fashion shoemakers in Australia. Andrew, who trained at the House of John Lobb, passed down his skills to me, providing a deep appreciation for timeless craftsmanship.
