I’m focused on how testing can enable sustainable innovation. At DHI, I lead lab operations and real-world testing of water technologies to ensure they’re safe, effective, and ready for deployment. I’ve built a multidisciplinary team and work closely with regulators and industry partners to improve how environmental technologies are validated, so they protect ecosystems, not harm them.
Leading a globally recognized environmental testing and innovation organization across two sites, providing day-to-day management and long-term strategic direction for a multidisciplinary team. Driving strategic planning and operational groundwork to expand the service portfolio into adjacent and emerging sectors, laying the foundation for successful expansion and enabling significant market capture. Supervising procurement of specialized testing equipment, scheduled preventive maintenance, and managed inventory to ensure continuous operational readiness across facilities. Directing an integrated in-house chemical and biological laboratory, ensuring rapid turnaround of accredited water analyses and compliant ecotoxicology studies. Maintaining full compliance with international standards by leading safety reviews, risk and barrier analyses, and incident follow-up processes. Building and scaling the testing service into a multidisciplinary, revenue-generating platform, expanding the team and diversifying service offerings. Currently leading discussions within an international network to define enhanced testing regimes, upgrading protocols for challenging water conditions by building consensus among stakeholders and translating complex scientific issues for policymakers. Oversaw laboratory and testing operations, aligning staff, facilities, and budgets to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency. Developed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for chemical handling and other Health & Safety procedures, ensuring compliance and enhancing workplace safety.
