for AIRBUS --> TRAINER on « DTC Design To Cost & Value Engineering » (from 2016) I provide training sessions for all AIRBUS divisions (AIRBUS DEFENSE & SPACE, AIRBUS AIRCRAFT…) --> PROJECT LEADER (from July 2016 (part time)) - Operational management of a team of 10 transnational DtC experts (UK, Spain, Germany & France) - Customer relationship, deliver contractual deliverables --> DTC DESIGN TO COST expert (from August 2013) Project: AIRBUS A350 aircraft Recurring Cost reduction DtC projects on aircraft structure, electrical and mechanical system installation (harnesses, tubes & pipes) on different Workpackages (Pylon, Air inlet, Fuselage) - Deliver complete business case: calculation or estimation of recurring cost saving, investments (non recurring cost), return on investment, weight & leadtime impacts - Generation of ideas by organizing and leading workshops, creativity sessions, benchmark, Value & Functional Analysis, cost driver analysis - Act on design, materials (metals, composite), manufacturing technology (stamping, casting, machining…), requirements challenge - Costing of new solutions - Contribution to call for tenders to challenge suppliers view
for AIRBUS - Focal point & leader of electrical components perimeter in the A350 weight saving plateau. - Identification of opportunities for weight saving. Creation and analysis of business case in relation with designer, industrialization, assembly line, suppliers - Writing of technical specifications on electrical components, writing of A/C technical notes. Qualification of suppliers - Responsible of the treatment of the new products developments requests. Follow-up of the components developments in term of planning and risks. Verification of the components availability for production
