- Senior member of the Backend engineering team - Designed and fully implemented consortium data sharing to allow for secure inter-customer deidentified data sharing. - Designed and fully implemented a centralized error reporting framework for error tracking across the Syapse platform. - Improved platform performance around the transmission of messages by a factor of 350x - Designed and fully created a notifications framework that supports both email notifications and dashboard notifications. - Built a load testing framework to easily simulate many concurrent users and connections to the Syapse platform using Locust (http://locust.io/) and modifying the source library for Syapse specific needs. - Built a metrics collection application that securely collects arbitrarily configured data across the Syapse fleet on a periodic basis for penetration and adoption analysis.
- First member of the engineering team and built Neurotrack Core Backend (Python/Django) and Frontend (JS/jQuery/Bootstrap) components. - Built webcam recording capabilities using Adobe Flash + Wowza Media Server integrated fully with AWS (S3, CloudFront) and deployed on EC2. - Built a standalone survey application complete with admin panel for HIPAA-secure survey management and response analysis, as well as survey distribution and response collection (Python/Django) - Built a data synchronization application, allowing remote satellite sites to upload data to a central repository to merge into Neurotrack's central database. Built to be robust to network interruptions for transfer of large (>2GB) files. - Built an update management system to allow for remote updates of software versions on standalone Neurotrack testing laptops without internet connections. Allows for secure update of software via USB device.
- Yub, Inc is a spinoff of TrialPay, focusing on connecting the online and offline transaction experiences - Significant experience in setting up DevOps components, such as handling failover in Redis, setting up Nginx with uwsgi for Python and FPM for PHP. - Built an asset manager in Python + Pyramid to serve up static assets and to allow upload/caching for optimal performance - Built a token distribution service in Python + Pyramid with a MySQL and Redis Database Backing to aid in reward fulfillment. - Built products in multiple languages (PHP, Python, NodeJS, Ruby) and across multiple frameworks communicating with each other via REST API channels. - Yub, Inc was acquired by Coupons.com in January 2014.
- Built and developed the TrialPay Mobile product line – including Mobile Incentivized Installs, Mobile Offerwall, and Mobile Dealspot on Android and iOS. - Served as a generalist, providing support along the full technology stack at TrialPay including optimizing script performance, creating data reporting/visualizations, as well as working heavily on customer facing UI components.
