As a Partner Solution Sales at Microsoft, I focused on driving impact through partnerships, connecting the right solutions with the right customers, at the right time. I managed the Cloud Services and CRM/ERP solution areas, working closely with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem to co-develop go-to-market plans, support joint sales opportunities, and scale growth across sectors. My day-to-day was a mix of relationship-building, sales strategy, and solution storytelling. Collaborated with a wide network of solution partners to drive execution across cloud and business application offerings Designed and implemented Sales & Demand Gen plans to accelerate partner performance and meet revenue goals Served as the product expert for both cloud and business applications (CRM & ERP), advising partners and customers with tailored insights Actively engaged with local communities and business networks in Hong Kong, leveraging partnerships to support SMBs and create broader business impact
At Microsoft, I worked on turning data and insights into action, designing and running customer and marketing programs that helped the SMB segment grow faster and smarter. I identified growth opportunities, planned digital campaigns for acquisition and retention, and collaborated with internal teams and partners to bring everything to life. Also, I collaborated with numerous Hong Kong associations, business partners and key logos to co-drive initiatives that brought greater impact to the local SMB ecosystem.
I focused on retention marketing and customer engagement—designing strategies that not only kept customers around, but also improved revenue and long-term loyalty. I built out segmentation models and communication flows for key retention programs, including renewal plans, exit strategies, and ongoing promotions, ensuring we had the right message for the right customer at the right time. Working with data was core to the role. I handled everything from churn analysis to competitor tracking, and regularly translated business questions into actionable insights. 🌱Key highlight Spearheaded a paperless transformation program, shifting customers from physical to digital communications—growing e-method usage from 28% to 80% within 7 months! This was where I got my real crash course in startup marketing, jumping into projects from ground zero and helping build them all the way to launch. I worked across a range of ventures, including: > Financial social media platform targeting China & Hong Kong > Lifestyle content app for baby boomers > Unified communications system for hospitals > B2B e-commerce platform I also helped grow brand visibility by contributing to blogs, online events, and managing over 20,000 users in instant messaging groups—creating real engagement in our user community. On the acquisition side, I developed promotion plans that increased conversion rates by 60%, making sure the buzz we created actually turned into users. This role gave me hands-on, from-scratch experience in what it takes to bring a startup to life—limited resources, fast pivots, big ambition—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
At Hutchison, I sat at the intersection of content, product, and promotion—managing mobile content services across entertainment, lifestyle, gaming, and utility categories. From running marketing campaigns to launching new apps and services, I was part strategist, part storyteller, part project wrangler. In the content marketing side, I led full-funnel campaigns across traditional and digital platforms—including mobile apps, web portals, and social channels. I managed everything from in-store activations and press events to writing copy, localizing content, and tracking campaign results through post-campaign analytics and financial reports. On the product side, I oversaw mobile service development from the ground up, including UI/UX, acceptance testing, and launch readiness. A few milestone projects: Successfully brought "3 Super Safe" and "3 Super Cloud" to market, leading from concept to execution Working across teams and partners, I learned how to balance customer experience with technical feasibility, and how to turn big ideas into real, shippable products. This role gave me hands-on experience in project management, content development, and digital product marketing—plus a deep appreciation for the power of well-written copy and a clear UX.
I was hands-on across the full marketing spectrum—from planning campaigns to building partnerships and launching new systems. One of my key achievements was developing the company’s CRM and loyalty program from scratch—going from “we should do this” to a fully operational system that actually delivered results. This role strengthened my skills in strategic marketing, customer engagement, and B2B partnerships plus, I now know more about restaurant marketing than I ever expected!
