I have the privilege of working as part of SAP's ecosystem of over 24,000 government agencies and non-government organisations in more than 150 countries. I have a passion for the public sector and am proud to have built solutions to help Australians find jobs, to protect our borders, and to support our war veterans. Connect with me to discuss how SAP's portfolio of solutions for public services can help the world run better and improve peoples' lives.
I'm a member of SAP's Global Public Services leadership team, responsible for taking SAP's portfolio of solutions to market across federal, state, and local government. My role is the perfect blend of industry advisory, solutions incubation, and business development.
I joined SAP because the company's mission "to help the world run better and improve peoples' lives" is so well aligned to my personal values. I found a perfect role in the Global Public Sector team, responsible for SAP's industry solution for social protection.
At IBM I was Director of Product Consulting for the Cúram social protection portfolio in Asia-Pacific. I racked up some serious frequent-flyer miles, and helped the business to break into new markets in Singapore and China.
Prior to the acquisition of Cúram Software by IBM, I was Director of Product Consulting for Australia and New Zealand. I gained deep insights into social protection through working with renowned industry experts and some of the most innovative government agencies on the planet. This was my first people management role, setting me on the path to a leadership career - even though I didn't realise it at the time!
At Unisys I was a employed as an Account Executive, working across all Federal Government agencies. I worked on several business-critical application modernisation and data centre transformation initiatives. Having experienced life as a quota-carrying salesperson, I ultimately decided that I had more passion for industry consulting.
At Hewlett-Packard I was employed as an Enterprise Account Manager, representing all lines of business (services, software and infrastructure) into three large government agencies. A key skill I developed is how to explain complex technical concepts in a simple way that emphasises value to the business.
My first sales role was as a Client Principal, representing HP’s Federal Government Services practice. I learnt about consultative selling into government, and how to help customers find a solution that perfectly meets their needs. I was delighted to win a new logo account for HP's Services business.
