As a Senior Early Talent Recruiter at MongoDB, I focus on building high-impact internship and new grad programs for teams working in engineering, product, and large-scale distributed systems. I lead recruiting across software engineering, AI-focused roles, product, program management, information technology, security, and technical writing, with a strong emphasis on thoughtful team matching, clear performance and evaluation frameworks, inclusive hiring, and a standout candidate experience from first touch through offer, onboarding, internships, and beyond. My work sits at the intersection of recruiting strategy, program management, and community-building. I partner closely with leaders across regions to design scalable processes, run intern and new grad events that build community, and continuously refine our approach using data, feedback, and market insight. That includes optimizing structured interview loops and supporting teams across a variety of engineering and AI-focused work. I care a ton about creating environments where early-career talent can do real, meaningful work and where technical teams feel supported in growing the next generation. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me digging into music production and instrumentation (aka turning one quick idea into 47 slightly different versions of the same eight bars), exploring contemporary art (confidently saying “it’s about tension” and hoping nobody asks a follow-up question), brushing up on personal finance as a periodic reminder that dollar-cost averaging is very important, reading books that are weird (in the best way) and make you reread the same paragraph twice (thanks, Vonnegut), or deep-diving into whatever shows and movies people are excited about (doing “one episode” that somehow becomes a season)!
