I have what you'd politely call an "interesting" professional background (thanks, ADHD): 🎒 Schooled as a Sociolinguist (Catalan Language Planning and Policy), taught Child Language Acquisition and competed two years of a PhD program in Sociolinguistics ⚽ Founder/Co-Owner of FC Buffalo, a lower league soccer team in the United States now entering it's 14th year in existence 📝 Served as the first Public Relations director for the National Premier Soccer League, and was the youngest member of the league's Executive Committee 📣 Coached hundreds of ultra runners (and ran plenty of my own!) with my ultra-running coaching company, Miles to Go Endurance. 👟 Fit roughly 20,000 people for running shoes at Marathon Sports, one of the most famous running stores in the world situated at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Outside of the work world... 🏈 I’m a huge Buffalo Bills fan and proud member of Bills Mafia. Go Bills. 🔨 I love DIY and building things. Currently I'm renovating our family cabin on 95 acres of land in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan 🏃 I run. I've run many, many ultramarathons (50k to 100 mile distance, including Dirty 30 50k, Leadville 50 miler, Marquette 50, Cruel Jewel 100, Run Rabbit Run 100 and more!) 🧳 I'm a proud husband, married to my rock star wife, Jessica, and our three kids, West, Jack, and June. We travel as a family...a lot. 🚲 👨🔧I proudly serve as the head bike mechanic for the Knapp Cycling Team (the correct number of bikes to own is N+1), I speak 🇺🇸 English, 🇪🇸 Spanish, und ein bisschen 🇩🇪 Deutsch.
