- Develop and implement a revised learning strategy for the WHO Health Emergency Programme (WHE), ensuring WHO and partners have requisite capacities and capabilities to prepare and respond to disease outbreaks, epidemics, pandemics (including COVID-19) and other health emergencies. - Lead the design and implementation of learning retention activities across the OpenWHO learning platform, strengthening learning outcomes for >6 million learners worldwide. - Administer accreditation project to provide and expand course accreditation to hybrid and online learning within the WHE portfolio. - Provide expert advice to the development of WHE Flagship Learning programme including WHE Leadership in Health Emergencies course.
Fountation is a highly interactive, science-based learning app that teaches fundamental life skills not taught in school and university through interactive, story-based cases. It combines self-paced learning with a community of diverse, open-minded people all striving to master the fundamental skills to think smarter, decide better and live more wisely.
- Conducted desk review and +25 interviews with key stakeholders of existing policy frameworks for education and the continuity of educational services during the COVID-19 crisis at the subregional and national level in selected countries. - Recommended actions and policy changes regarding availability, equal accessibility, literacy and innovative learning practices regarding ICTs in educational policy. - Drafted comprehensive study of online learning deployment during COVID-19 across five countries/territories in the Caribbean and co-organized technical expert meeting to discuss findings. - Contributed to strengthening the capacity of training institutions to drive digital health literacy, and provision of life-long learning opportunities.
- Managed international teams and partnerships across divisions, including design, development, and marketing of innovative learning products, towards a 10x increase in company valuation. - Pitched business plan to investors towards $1.4M USD capital raise. - Acted as member of board of directors (Vorstandsassistenz) providing investor/stakeholder management, management of strategic projects, and key guidance on new learning products and content. - Negotiated and managed acquisition and merger of US Edtech company.
