I have always aspired to be an eyewear brand owner and found that design elements and materials can be incorporated into eyewear to form a more balanced, functional yet keeping it fashionable, edgy, and uniquely on-style. I started as an optometrist in my practice and expanded to three flagship practices that have won multiple awards. Having that burning passion for materializing my vision, I gradually built the brand RYAN ADDA throughout my fifteen years of practising as an optometrist and as an eyewear stylist for various talk shows, radio and magazines. Lots of R&D and time were poured into the inception of this brand. Today, I am pleased that our brand has grown globally and is available in Europe, Asia and Australasia. I am excited that RYAN ADDA is now collaborating on a Virtual Try-On frame catalogue with a global lens brand. On a personal level, running my retail practices, online store, and building a niche designer eyewear brand doesn't leave me with a lot of free time. I still make sure I spend quality time with my family as they are the inspiration behind this brand. I enjoy playing PS5 Street Fighter or watching a movie with my kids on the weekend. I’m also an avid cyclist. I look forward to cycling with my buddies twice a week or squeezing in a ride when I can in the day.
