I received my Ph.D degree in Materials Science from Shanghai JiaoTong University in 2010. During Ph.D study I focused on the research work of PLA modification. I joined Dow Chemical R&D in 2010 and focused on the formulation development for new product application. In 2012 I joined Corbion Purac, and was in charge of providing technical service to customers, the joint development of PLA applications with downstream companies and also the fundamental research projects with Universities/Institutes in Greater China. In 2019 I moved from technical to commercial role and responsible for PLA sales and business development in Greater China and Vietnam.

- Lead the technical team of Application Center China - Be responsible for a portfolio of projects in the fields of poly(lactide) (PLA) products, processing and applications. These projects cover a broad range of plastic applications, such as compounding, film blowing, fiber spinning, thermoforming and injection molding - Establish and maintain effective external industrial and academic networks. Be the technical project leader to carry out both under laboratory conditions as well as on an industrial scale at customer sites, universities or other institutes and coordinate between the customer and Corbion organization - Capture information from projects and other activities, and assure the availability and transfer of the required knowledge to relevant communities - Provide expert services to global sales organization - Signal patent opportunities or provide patent content
