Heading and developing an international controlling team in APAC, EMEA and the Americas whilst being responsible for all Group Controlling tasks such as monthly revenue recognition, capex controlling and providing regular analysis and comments on estimates and forecasts. This is a multi-faceted leadership role where I augmented the entire FP&A and supported on investor relations functions while partnering with the CEO to refine supply chain strategy and other vital operations. Additionally, I partner with the C-suite to perform deal due diligence. I lead one direct report and three outsourcing partners in Germany, USA, and China. Some of my biggest achievements include: • Secured CHF 30M in equity and 35M in debt financing during tenure. • Saved 500M Swiss Francs after closing legal cases impacting EMS and insurance
In this position I created a finance department culture committed to continuous improvement, accuracy, and transparency to provide a realistic perspective on company fiscal health and goal attainment. My team produced monthly, quarterly, and annual reports while adhering to IFRS and Swiss GAAP principles. As a result of my effectiveness as a leader and strong finance acumen I was promoted to regional chief of all accountants in the company. Another major achievement was creating a shared service center (SSC) in Poland to better manage regional financial analysis needs
In addition to the routine monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of the 30+ Swiss entities in the Swiss Group, the most important reports that I led the creation of were regulatory reports for Swiss National Bank, FINMA, and other regulatory authorities.
