Peter Mitchell President of Mitchell Sandham Insurance Brokers Inc is pleased to announce a key succession to the board of directors and executive leadership team effective January 1, 2014: Ryan Mitchell to the position of Chief Operating Officer to support the firm’s continued success as a well respected and dominant independent brokerage in the Canadian insurance industry. Since joining the brokerage in 2003, Ryan has held various senior roles of progressive responsibility in the areas of strategy and operations. Most recently as the company’s Vice President of Commercial Lines, Ryan has developed and currently manages a significant commercial portfolio. Ryan has completed the CAIB and CPIB designations, as well as the RSA Making Partner program. As Chief Operating Officer, Ryan will be responsible for corporate expansion and managing overall operations. Ryan will work closely with the President and the Chief Executive Officer to ensure the brokerage achieves its strategic goals.
