Managing and working with both internal and external service providers to ensure all countries are compliant with local legislation and statutory & corporate books reflect a true and accurate position of the entities. Own local and corporate ledger for the controlled entities including: management of the financial close process; review results end to end and provide commentary on P&L and BS; oversee the accurate and timely preparation of statutory filings and annual audit; ensure actuals for all controlled entities are provided to relevant stakeholders; and managing contributions from assistant controllers and 3rd party providers. Ensure that local compliance regimes are understood and that the entities fulfil local compliance reporting and filing requirements as well as financial requirements for liquidity and capitalisation. Act as consult on new business ventures, discoveries and early stage JVs, review requirements by local jurisdictions and manage the set-up accounting and compliance transactions and processes in new ventures, including the set-up of 3rd party services
