Full-stack role as part of the Procure Dev team in charge of developing and managing tools used in stock procurement. Roles and Responsibilities: • Working closely with an external team on backend and frontend development tasks • Managing and improving project infrastructure such as: - Creating and configuring virtual machines using Terraform and Ansible - Configuring and managing CI/CD tools (Jenkins) - Monitoring and maintaining CockroachDB clusters • Providing investigation and live support for the product
Participating in the THG Accelerator program which trains individuals in the field of Software Engineering before transitioning into one of the established tech teams.

Summer internship in 2019 in Shanghai as part of the Generation UK program run by the British Council and CRCC ASIA. I spent 2 months living in Shanghai and working for Softbank Robotics China. Roles and Responsibilities: • Assessing content management systems and evaluating how they may be used in the context of education • Assessing and producing educational material to help teach programming through the use of Pepper and their software Choreographe • Testing and evaluating educational activities through the use of Choreographe and Pepper
