-Monitoring, downloading, and organizing incoming stringer and reporter materials to be used for news production from different sources (local FTP, Aspera, Facebook, Twitter, and other online file-sharing sites) -Converting of the videos into the required format for news editing -Facilitating live on-air and recorded Skype, Viber, and Facetime interviews -Extracting materials from CDs, DVDs and others sources for conversion or archiving -Downloading requested materials from licensed news outlets (Reuters, AFP, Ruptly, AP) to be used for daily newscasts -Providing technical assistance to stringers and reporters regarding issues with material sending, converting, and playout -Archiving and deleting files from the FTP and Aspera servers after the night shift
