K. Ryan Baldwin has extensive experience in marketing, opening, and operating class “A” assets and affordable housing projects. Currently, Ryan is serving as Senior Vice President for Franklin Apartment Management in San Antonio, TX. Ryan also is listed as an approved Fair Housing trainer with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Prior to joining Franklin, Ryan worked as Regional Manager for The Lynd Company and asset management with Hudson Advisors, a globally integrated asset management company that performs due diligence and analysis, asset management, and other support services for Lone Star Funds. Directly prior to joining Hudson Advisors, Ryan was associated with Wereldhave, a Dutch REIT established in 1930 which was a previous client of Trigon. With Trigon, Ryan as President of the company oversaw the operations and marketing of a residential and commercial portfolio that consisted of over 140,000 square feet of retail and office space, 1500+ parking stalls and over twenty multi-family assets. In addition to operational supervision, Ryan oversaw approximately 120 employees. The portfolio was diversified through all classes of properties and included, in addition to numerous class A properties, several low-income housing tax credit and bond properties. Prior to Trigon, Ryan was associated with Greystar Real Estate Partners and Pace Realty Corporation serving in various roles and also for numerous development partnerships with Walter Umphrey and the Leyendecker Building Group, a large Houston based developer of multi-family, single family, commercial, hotel and master planned communities. During Ryan’s career, he has been involved with the lease-up of new construction projects consisting of several thousand units; aided in training and marketing for a portfolio of over 5,000 multi-family units; assisted in numerous development consultation projects; property management take-over’s; and due diligence projects.
