Financial Reporting Producing reliable and timely daily and monthly financial information for management, while responding effectively to queries and data requests. Financial reporting and Management accounting Managing financial reporting system in five different subsidiary companies (Construction, Export, Manufacturing and Service sectors). Preparing the monthly financial reporting, quarterly financial reporting and annual consolidated financial statements and liaising with external auditors for Annual Report purpose. Perform intercompany eliminations and other consolidation adjustments. Perform month-end processes including processing accrual and prepayment journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Supervise payment, receipts, payable and receivable allocation in different ERP systems (SAP and Tally) Review the reconciliation of revenue accounts with receivable balances, Bank reconciliations, Stock reconciliation, Intercompany reconciliations, Sub Contractors reconciliation and all other Balance sheet related reconciliations. Directly involving in the activities relating to the management and control of cash flow, banking relations and investments. Preparing the monthly product profitability statements, customer profitability statements and monitoring cost of inventory, fixed asset register and working progress.
Budgeting and Audit related services Full involvement in preparation of forecasts and budgets and preparing income and expenditure variances against budget and prior year. Preparing the budget, quarterly forecast analysis and key performance processes including estimates. Conducting internal audits in factories to ensure systems implementation, policies & procedures are in practice and to identify any issues in the internal control system and recommending process improvements to the management. Providing assurance to management on the overall assessment of the internal controls, related risk and making recommendations for efficiency and effectiveness of the operations. Perform monthly consolidation, analysis and interpretation of monthly financial results for internal reporting. Analysing and interpreting inventory costings and commentary in accordance with agreed deadlines. Monitor financial performance versus budget so that the organization is aware of anticipated results. Coordinating with the internal Auditors and external Auditors and requesting their ideas from them to improve the internal control function of the companies. Forecasting cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment. Taxation and Administration Review of tax compliance and filling of tax returns of Income Tax, VAT, S-VAT and NBT etc. Coordinating with IRD and Tax professionals to obtain tax concessions for the companies.
