Preparing and presenting business cases for compelling new product propositions to senior leadership and other key internal and external stakeholders. Owning the product proposition, the positioning and messaging, and as subject matter expert, ensuring that new product developments are effectively briefed to cross functional teams for collaborative design and development in line with the concept to achieve profitable customer focused products. Identifying and managing strategic partnerships and IP licensing with associated brands to add value to the customer experience. Evaluating product performance and applying lessons learned for future iterations and feedback loops. Successes: (1) Product lead on the strategic team and agile squad team for the change of monarchy upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. As all UK coins carry the effigy of the reigning monarch, this event was seismic for The Royal Mint. I led on the rapid and successful execution of a Queen Elizabeth II memorial products alongside the development and issue of new coinage with King Charles' effigy, and commemorative coins for the King's coronation. The enablement and delivery of these products led to 2022/3 being the most commercially successful year in The Royal Mint's history. (2) North America market development. As part of The Royal Mint's strategic goal of growing the American market I worked with the International Sales team and American sales partner to define/develop a product pipeline specific to the American customer. These products had particular challenges in terms of their approval by the Treasury for production on UK coin, but with tenacity and determination the propositions were approved and developed for launch.
