Ruth Cotter is AMD’s Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, leading the company’s Corporate Operations Group, including Marketing, Communications, HR, Corporate Security, IT, and Indirect Procurement. She helped guide AMD’s hypergrowth through strategic planning, operational discipline and people centric leadership. Ruth elevated AMD’s best-in-class brand through the “together we advance” platform, strengthened executive thought leadership, and improved employee engagement across AMD’s 30,000+ workforce. She also led through two periods in which AMD doubled in size, integrated the semiconductor industry's largest M&A transaction and now contributes to AMD’s ambition to achieve a greater than $100B revenue run rate by 2029. In her previous role, she oversaw investor relations, driving outreach that contributed to AMD becoming one of the top-performing stocks in the S&P 500. She serves on the GSA Women’s Leadership Council, and has been recognized by PRWeek’s 2025 Power List.
