Under interlocal agreement, I currently work at the pleasure of an independent Business Technology Services Board composed of County representatives and the Constitutional Officers of Pinellas County Government and the Judicial Sixth Circuit including the Chief Judge, State Attorney, Public Defender, Sheriff, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Property Appraiser, Tax Collector, Supervisor of Elections, two of the County Commissioners, and the County Administrator. I am accountable to the Board for an annual operating and capital budget of $40 million, the effective provision of 154 permanent staff positions and the delivery and support of enterprise business services. These services include the Pinellas County Website, Customer Support Center, Geographical Information Systems, Asset Management, Local and Wide-Area Networking, Telecommunications, E-mail, Criminal Justice, Oracle eBusiness, Personal Computing, Security, and an extensive portfolio of additional customer business services.
Provided leadership and direction to team of approximately 40 professionals to deliver enterprise services to all Information Technology Board agencies. Responsibilities included operational aspects of Information Technology Department including IBM Mainframe, IBM RISC systems, Intel Servers, Desktop Support, Email Platform and Technology Training.
