Carrying out the standard maintenance tasks within the unique datacenter environment that ARK have created, dealing with the day to day running of the of the site, dealing with breakdowns including following CBRE and ARK procedures, dealing contractors and the various permit systems and ensuring they have the correct permits and paperwork, issuing work to other engineers and suppling training where appropriate,
Producing new Health and safety paperwork , liaising with the landlord (CBRE) and all the companies in the building to ensure smooth running of the building, carrying out reactive maintenance as required within the allotted time scheduled, carrying out the PPMs as they become due, carrying out small projects work from conception to completion, liaising with contractors from all companies to ensure everything runs smoothly and over seeing a young apprentice.
Carrying out maintenance and PPMs as required and small installs as required and reactive works. Carrying out work for the Project team, getting quotes from suppliers and instigating purchase orders, checking parts in and out, arranging for contractors for repairs and callouts, scheduling works, monitoring work flow and allocating work to colleagues, leasing with the client, reading RAMs and validating them before passing them to Health and Safety Department , ensuring all mandatory works get carried out on scheduled, using BMS (TREND 963), carrying out Fire Alarm testing on a weekly basis (Gent system) there is also a WinMag computer system which is a Gent Computer interface, carrying out monthly Emergency Light Testing and repairs, carrying out monthly Meter Readings and trending them, auditing systems against the records ensuring they are both up to date.
