This has been one of the most challenging and fulfilling opportunities to come back to a large environment. International Paper at every turn has allowed me to test my abilities while still letting me maintain my family work balance. This company has to be the best organization I have ever had the opportunity and privilege to work for. I work to design and maintain the North America virtualization environment consisting of a large scale VMware deployment. I also design and manage the Cisco UCS environment as well as our legacy HP Proliant infrastructure. I am tasked with designing, architecting, and teaching my team the configurations I think will best suit our environment. This is a highly available and demanding environment for a $21 Billion a year company. For being the company I rely on my check for I must say I am so proud to be a part of this organization. I can't tell you how many times I inform people "I work for the largest paper company in the world!" And I vehemently defend the staples we use when people ask "Isn't your company in decline?" I am a true IP champion and will always hold a special place for this Great company in my heart.

(Systems Administrator) This was one of the most enjoyable Systems/Team environment. The position was coined with challenges and alot of relationship building opportunities. While in this position I was on a team that maintained systems provided to the clinics of UT and Methodist. My team managed the data center. I worked with servers consisting of C series Blades (HP) as well as HP Proliant servers. Installed and configured as well as loaded profiles (Boot from San) for new projects and implementations. Assisted in maintaining VMWare environment. Clustered with 7 host servers. Maintained Backups with Netbackup with LTO4 Overland storage.
