I've worked with multiple Political Science professors at Penn State on a variety of projects. Some tasks have focused on traditional research - that is, searching through archives for certain pieces of information. Others have been much more technical, with a heavy emphasis on large-scale data processing. In every case, I have worked closely with the professors throughout the process to ensure that my work is air-tight and consistent with their intentions.

At the PAPUC Bureau of Consumer Services, I was tasked with synthesizing over two decades of public policy rulings regarding electricity and natural gas supplier switching into a single history for internal use. Once this task was largely complete, I had acquired enough knowledge about the relevant policies to assist policy staff as they developed a broader guidebook for internal use. My role in the development of this guidebook made use of both my thorough understanding of the histories of the policies and my skills as a writing tutor. At the end of the internship, I had an opportunity to present my findings and contributions to higher-level staff at the Bureau of Consumer Services.
