Responsible for the maintenance and repair of clay pipe extrusion equipment which also includes, dryers, kilns, conveyor drives, grinding equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics and carrying out PPMs. Liaising with management daily to meet production requirements to organise tooling changes. Excellent communication skills at all levels while remaining dedicated to ensuring and understanding the company requirements and procedures. Responding promptly and effectively to changing circumstances, planning for contingencies and managing conflicting priorities. Supporting in all elements of health, safety, security and environmental aspect for the organisation. Complying with all relevant procedures and deliver high standards of safety performance during all operations. Working flexibly to accommodate the changing needs of the business; working long hours and taking on additional responsibility.
Responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the department. Stripping, inspecting, building, and testing of several types of Subsea control chokes. Responsible for compiling build and test procedures, and the regular updating of company computer systems (PLM, LN). Working in various overseas locations, installing and inspecting subsea equipment, fire marshal, first aider and internal auditor (LRQA). Dealing efficiently and on own initiative with a high-volume workload. Completing all activities in a timely accurate and efficient manner in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
Carrying out the assembly of and pressure/function testing and interfacing of subsea tooling and test engineer. Setting up of high-volume pump/drive arrangements and gas turbines for string testing. Using of rota line alignment equipment for the oil and gas industry. Implementing and supporting effective working practices and systems as required to continuously improve product delivery. Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes are maintained, and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health and Safety at work act.
Daily maintenance of brick production equipment and the fabrication of associated machinery for Kilns, grinding mill, presses, pneumatics hydraulics and automated systems.
