I’m a full-stack web developer, specialised in modern javascript technologies (node.js, react & redux etc.), Ruby on Rails framework and relational/noSQL databases. I have both my master and bachelor degree in computer science and I am a ISTQB certified tester. So far, since I have become a developer, I have dedicated all my experience at work to the fantastic world of Javascript. In addition to that, I am continuing on my research and "dancing" on the bleeding edge of modern Javascript technologies, including GraphQL and Server-Side Rendering . In addition to the serious business above, I am actively involved in the Js and Ruby dev community; Every now and then, I come to the meetups, hearing from the great minds, listening to the talks by the experienced devs, and exchange innovative ideas with the peers. As I stated, I was determined to become a coder since my uni years and I fought hard for it: My study at university is focused on relational database system, data warehousing and analytics, information retrieval and data mining.
Joined NAB Internet Banking platform in mid 2021, I have been the lead developer across multiple major projects uplifting core functionalities of Internet Banking such as payment and account application process. During these projects, my responsibilities include providing tech leading to fellow developers as well as mentoring juniors. Other than tech leading the dev squad, my role also involves interfacing with the project team from the business end, working closely with the solution designer and business analyst to identify technical requirements and shape solutions via a series of progressive elaboration sessions. Tech stack wise, recently my focus has shifted from building event based micro services to transforming legacy monolithic frontend to modular micro frontend apps.
At Officeworks, I am delighted to be offered the opportunity to join the FRA (future- Ready-Project) project, which is to build the next generation e-com website for the Australia's largest stationary retailer, employing the cutting-edge Javascript technologies over a microservice architecture.
