I’m a Research Assistant in Reproductive Cell Biology at King’s College London, working with Dr Kim Jonas. My work focuses on ovarian function, hormonal signalling, and gonadotropin responses in mammalian models. I recently completed my PhD at King’s, where I studied the role of ZIP9 as a zinc transporter and membrane androgen receptor in female reproduction, combining zebrafish genetics, cell biology, and imaging. I’m particularly interested in translational reproductive research and women’s health.
Research Assistant in the Jonas Lab, Department of Women & Children’s Health, investigating how hormonal regimens used in assisted conception influence ovarian cell signalling and function in a Merck Serono-funded project. Techniques include ovarian cell culture, hormone treatments, GPCR second messenger signalling assays, Western blotting, and molecular analysis of ovarian signalling pathways.
Master Course Bimediacla Molecular Science and Research Practical teaching lab demonstrator.
