New York City Metropolitan Area
As an ambitious rising junior undergraduate student pursuing a self-designed B.S. Politics and Law degree under the CUNY B.A. program, I want to understand the two topics in a broader spectrum at CUNY Baruch College. I previously worked as an intern with the NYC Mayor's Public Engagement Unit, where I coordinated 'Benefits On Your Block' events and managed call and text-banking campaigns. I was committed to facilitating Fair Fares and OMNY enrollment for over 6,000 New Yorkers through direct community outreach. I also worked in the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department, where I learned more about the NY court system as a whole, committing to my mission to understand the legal sector. I am enthusiastic about delving into the usage of law and politics in our society, and I am committed to leveraging my academic foundation to make meaningful contributions to any legal team or organization and gain experience in this field.

• Provided clerical support to program administrators by performing tasks such as copying, filing, event coordination, data entry, and form creation. • Developed and maintained Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze cumulative student grades across multiple study abroad courses for end-of-semester reporting for 4 programs. • Reviewed and edited PowerPoint presentations prepared by professors, ensuring clarity and alignment with course objectives. • Assisted with the coordination of several projects introducing cohorts of international students, including the study trip with CREA, liaising with host locations and organizing career panels to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for all participants.
• Gained valuable mentorship and guidance in the legal field from two Baruch alumni in the Pre-Law Program.
