Working part-time as a sports coaching assistant delivering fun sessions to children aged from 5 to 14 years old. In this role I worked alongside the senior coaches delivering structured sports, games, and challenges to groups of children attending after-school, community-based sports clubs, and school holiday clubs. I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate. Key functions of the role include: · Help prepare and deliver engaging, fun, and progressive activities to children aged 5 – 14 years old that focus on participation, development, and enjoyment. · Show the required energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism required for the role, acting as an ambassador for StepUp Sports Coaching and behaving as a suitable role model for children. · Take shared responsibility for all children in our care, ensuring everyone remains safe and on task throughout the sessions. · Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety, and safeguarding procedures. · Be punctual and professional.
