Responsibility for 4 Teams covering several National and International Controlling activities as well as for Accounting Services for several German Real Estate Companies. Leading a team of 4 Manager with their 50 Co-workers. Corporate Real Estate is covering globally all services during a life cycle of properties for the DHL Group. The main activities are in the area of Construction, Commercial and Facility Management - but also in the area of Administrative Support (Property Management). Finally, the services around Sustainability are growing fast: supporting our five Business Units in regards to Carbon Neutral Buildings or roll out of Solar Technology. The Finance team is delivering the financial and operational insights to support our Corporate Real Estate Team as well as our DHL Business Units.
Responsibility for Controlling, Purchase, Legal and Airport Affairs at the DHL Hub in Leipzig and leading a team of 5 Manager with their 20 Co-workers. The DHL Hub in Leipzig has been established beginning of 2008 and doubled its size after its expansion in 2016. It is the largest hub in the global network of DHL Express today. With its over 6,000 employees the hub is handling over 2,000 tons freight per night. DHL Express is guiding over 70 planes into Leipzig to ensure the timely delivery of its time definite products for its global customers.
Leading 2 teams within the Global Controlling Department at Head Office and reporting to the EVP Global Controlling. The Function Cost Team is focusing on managing the global costs for e.g. HR, Finance, IT, Product Management etc. by defining global reporting standards to increase data transparency and benchmark country organisations via selected KPI’s. The team of Smart Cost Managment is focusing globally on reducing selected categories of operational expenses by developing price- and comsumption strategies.
Schenker Direct Production was an internal provider of Trailer- and Intermodal services for the European Land Direct Business. As Executive Board Member evaluating the existing infrastructure and business model of SDP GmbH. Implementation of a new business concept and relocating the business to another location within the Schenker network.
Member of the Board of Directors (Företagsledning) and responsible for Finance & Controlling and Procurement. Established a new centralised functional reporting structure of the Finance community for all legal entities in Sweden. Focusing on enhancing reporting infrastructure to increase the capabilities for data analytics. DB Schenker in Sweden is one of the largest entities of the global Schenker network - contributing over 1,2 billion Euro on Sales to the Schenker Group.
