I am an entrepreneur and experienced leader with a strong focus on sustainability, climate change, supply chain transparency, fair trade and gender equality. I founded and led the FLOCERT GmbH, a global certification body for Fairtrade, and later served as CEO of the EDGE Certified Foundation, the leading certification system for diversity and gender equality. An expert in certification and traceability systems, carbon markets, climate strategies, and sustainable business development, I also serve on the Accreditation Review Panel for SA8000, chair the Innovation Board of Fair Trade USA, and teach Social Entrepreneurship at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
