About

I am rather familiar with conditions and circumstances influencing the seafood Business at all – from catching methods, processing, packaging until the store. And in especially the fields of sustainability & aquaculture economics we had to collect our experiences. Sustainability has been started by myself in our division and nowadays it has been further developed until a section for the whole corporation. Over the years I collected a good overview for opportunities of the business, have developed a high anticipation capability for trends in Seafood and the related technical possibilities as well as communication skills for different cultures. I have found or particpated in founding of 5 companies, managed 2 M&A cases of a company, have been in charge for two turn arround projects. Since 2013 I am a member of the board for KM Seafood in Germany, a scientific and test lab company for breeding and of season reproduction of European freshwater species

    After a M&A process, Micarna bought the seafood business and production plattform for fresh seafood , mal responsibility has been the implementation of it and to get it working inside a new enviroment; founding of two companies in foreign countries, for aquaculture research activities and for expanding the market and the strengthen up the cost structure of processing In 2014 we have found KM Seafood GmbH, a company for reproduction know how of domestic European species in Germany. Meanwhile the company produces the highest number of perch juveniles in Europe. I habe the honour to be member of the Board and one out of two CEO‘s

    started in a position as adviser for quality aspects I took over it later as a project manager, responsible for the turn arround project and finaly it has been intergrated inside the Pizoler AG Sargans. There I have been working in full responsibility for the complete seafood business

    the Baltic Sea has been a sea with partly underutilized species (flounder). So I started to build up a processing company. After Poland became a member of the European Community it became more and more difficult to survive with the production costs in Germany and we extended our acitivties in selling and creating products, but let them produce somewhere - finally it has been sold and later it has been closed regular - no bankruppcy! And no damages anywhere ....

    This company is a manufacturer of food processing machineries - German engineering at it's best in this special branche (Poultry, meat, fish processing). I have had the chance to start as product manager for fish processing equipement and had some luck and opportunities - so I developed personally well , with working stays in very different areas (mainly Alaska, Asia, Scandinavia) and I finished in a verry interesting position but it hasn't left any chance for a personal further development. . .

    After the wall has broken down we (friends of mine and me) had founded some companies - one for education with partners of the University (still existing), one for exhibitions (taken over by another one), and a merchandising company. - which is today a holding for reconstructed flats. - easily to see: that time has been a periode of fast changes and trial and error businesses , but with enthusiastic approaches, mostly free of regulations and the chance to learn a lot of new things in shortest times ...
