I have gained work experience during my placement at Eli Lilly which has enabled me to learn about the Pharmaceutical industry, whilst also studying for a Biology degree at the University of Bath. I have served as a GCSE tutor helping students understand biological concepts. These experiences have developed my interpersonal and time management skills as well as organisational abilities. In addition, I have experience in 2 customer facing roles which have expanded my team working skills and at the same time enabled me to be an excellent communicator.
I shadowed clinical trial organisers and the Animal health team throughout the week, having insightful conversations with employees describing their specialities and typical days within the industry which allowed me to gain valuable experience and furthered my understanding of how biological sciences are used in the real world.
